Inspiration
My inspiration came from my learning experience. I wanted to attend this hackathon in order to expand my programming knowledge.
What it does
It just gives a little background information on myself. I wanted to introduce myself because I am from out of state.
How I built it
I built it with HTML, CSS, and a little bit of Javascript.
Challenges I ran into
I was working on a different application about machine learning with a team, but it fell through. Machine learning is a difficult concept to grasp in a few days. I began working on this web page a little late. Most of my coding experience is front end. I have completely forgotten how to use Python. I haven't used anything, but C++ in my CS class.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am just proud to be here. I have met some incredible people and seen some incredible creations.
What I learned
I attended some workshops. I definitely learned more about machine learning, and about encoding and decoding images. I doubt I could execute the code myself at this time, but I enjoyed learning about the concept.
What's next for MyFirstHackathon
I hope to eventually deploy it on the internet. I also hope to have time to add more javascript animations. I am sorry this is kind of lame, but I wanted to submit something.
