Inspiration
Planning and managing professional events often involves scattered tools, endless emails, and manual coordination. We wanted to build a unified platform that simplifies this process
What it does
MyEvents is a web-based platform that allows users to: Create and manage professional events (internal or external) Assign team roles and responsibilities Track tasks, deadlines, and resources Collect and manage RSVPs or participant lists Share event schedules, locations, and updates in real time Generate reports for event performance and feedback
How we built it
We developed MyEvents using: Bolt.new ( the great platform )
Challenges we ran into
Designing a user interface that was both flexible and intuitive for various event types Managing real-time updates across teams (especially task delegation) Implementing granular access control based on roles (organizer, staff, viewer) Ensuring responsiveness and mobile usability for on-the-go access
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Created a fully functional MVP within a short timeframe Designed a clean UI/UX that scales across devices Built a modular architecture that supports both internal and public events
What we learned
How to prioritize essential features for MVP delivery The importance of role-based permissions in collaborative tools Efficient use of modern frontend frameworks and state management
What's next for MyEvents - Gestion Professionnelle d'Événements
Integration with video conferencing tools (like Zoom or Teams) Advanced analytics (engagement, attendance, feedback scoring)
Built With
- bolt.new
- supabase
