Inspiration

Me and a friend always joked about how if I helped him with something he would give me a "mycuh buck" but I was never a recordable currency and that's why this bot was created.

What it does

Users can request "mycuh bucks" from mycuh by completing tasks for him. These "mycuh bucks" can then be exchanged for mycuh's assistance with something they need.

How I built it

Built using Discord.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.

Challenges I ran into

I initially relied on my intuition to determine how all the code would work, but as I delved deeper into the program, I found it increasingly difficult to progress without a well-thought-out plan.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud that I was able to get this bot up and running within 4 days.

What I learned

I've learned that it's crucial not only to plan your code before you start writing it but also to plan how the database will store documents and collections.

What's next for Mycuh Discord Bot

Include a feature for mycuh to offer discounts, along with introducing double "mycuh buck" weekends. During these weekends, users can earn twice the usual amount of "mycuh bucks" when completing tasks for mycuh.
