Inspiration

The inspiration behind MyChatfolio stemmed from a desire to revolutionize the conventional approach to browsing profiles and portfolios, replacing static resumes with dynamic, conversational experiences. Our inspiration lies in the vision of reshaping the hiring journey by infusing personality and interactivity into the process, moving beyond traditional methods to offer a more authentic glimpse into candidates' skills and traits.

What it does

MyChatfolio introduces a cutting-edge platform that integrates an AI chatbot directly into users' portfolios, enabling seamless dialogue and interaction as if conversing with the person themselves. It redefines the browsing experience by offering a genuine and immersive glimpse into candidates' personalities, passions, and skills through dynamic conversations, transcending the limitations of static resumes and generic portfolio websites.

How we built it

The website was built using nextjs and the openai API was used to make the backend of the chatbot.

Challenges we ran into

One of the key challenges we encountered was fine-tuning the AI chatbot to accurately interpret and respond to diverse resume formats and portfolio content, ensuring a natural and engaging conversational experience. Another challenge involved optimizing the platform's performance and scalability while maintaining real-time responsiveness, especially during peak usage periods and heavy conversational loads.
