Create new song playlists from old favorites. MyCadences allows users to delve deep into analyses of their favorite songs, and automatically create Spotify favorites of their most listened to songs.

Our love of music.

What it does

Utilizes Spotify API so users can create playlists from their old favorites. Also provides audio feature analysis for any song available on Spotify.

How we built it

HTML/CSS/JS with Express JS and JSON. Hosted on Heroku.

Challenges we ran into

Working with Spotify API, something we've never done before.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Users can create playlists on Spotify based off their top 50 favorite songs in the past month/6 months/lifetime.

What we learned

Spotify API, troubleshooting, how to think creatively to problem solve.

What's next for MyCadences

Implement AI Caden, which will make amusing comments about a person's music data.
