This project was developed by a group of students at UofT for a course on Software Engineering. Although this specific project is more of a proof of concept than a full fledged application, this type of technology has already been accepted by the market (and it's used frequently nowadays).
Our main objective was to implement an application using new dynamic and web-friendly technologies (such as Ruby on Rails, javascript and HTML5) that would allow us to make use of Software Engineering concepts and practices as if we were developing a (somewhat) real world solution.
