Inspiration
In order to build my web development skills and create a personal portfolio to share with recruiters and friends I built my personal website.
What it does
My personal website contains information all about me, including my bio, projects, hobbies, and blog.
How I built it
I built the front-end using React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages.
Challenges I ran into
Some challenges I ran into included adding some advanced features, such as CSS transitions when hovering over HTML elements and rotating icons, and working with React routing for the different blog posts.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I proud of myself for creating a personal portfolio to share with everyone as well as learning React.js and building my web dev skills.
What I learned
I learned a lot about front-end web development and I taught myself React.js. I also learned how to use GitHub Pages for hosting websites.
What's next for my-website
I would reformat the website to be more clean and modern. I also plan on updating the content as I complete new projects.
