My Shopping Cart

It's a web application where customers can view products, and add them to their cart, with the ability to edit the quantity and when they checkout they can't buy more than their balance.

Inspiration

After learning about Flask, I was excited to try it out and learn more about Python. The challenge motivated me to take this action.

What it does

Shopping website.... to be upgraded.

How we built it

Flask and Python are used to write the backend, while HTML and CSS are used to write the frontend.

Challenges we ran into

This was my first time dealing with Python. I encountered many challenges learning about the program lifecycle, authentication, and various Python functions that I was exposed to in this journey.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I used to procrastinate on learning Python, but this challenge motivated me to take action and become more enthusiastic about the journey.

What we learned

Flask, Basic Python, routing, login manager, sessions and more in Python

What's next for My Shopping Cart

To have a better UI :) and to improve the functions to include more.
