MY LITERACY

Inspiration

Lack of financial literacy among college students.

What it does

The four pillars of financial investment are debt, savings, investment and budgeting. Our app makes these pillars known and generalized by creating for you a profile based on your answers to a financial literacy based questionnaire.

How we built it

We started by breaking the down the problem and then we used the crazy 8 method to brainstorm the design ideas when we identified the user journey. We later used figma to collaborate and later create a prototype.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing the code with and trying to integrate AI in our application.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of being able to merge all our ideas into one platform and being able to come up with a good outcome.

What we learned

We ourselves learned about the pillars of financial literacy as well as signs of financial illiteracy. We also learned about the values of team work as we persistently came up with different ideas to create something we believed was important.

What's next for MY LITERACY

We hope to able to create code that can make it a running app and add notifications to it as well as an AI that can act as a search bar for any information that users might require on financial literacy.
