Inspiration
When receiving an E-Mails, we usually check the CC and BCC fields to see if a cetain colleague has got the same e-mail too. In Jira we have to check multiple fields (Assignee, Reporter, Watcher and also all the comments).
What it does
Our App makes it easier to find out if a certain user is a participant on the ticket by creating an easy-to-read graph.
How I built it
Using the Jira REST API and a react-js graph builder.
Challenges I ran into
Making sure the diagram is automatically adapted to the window width and height.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Retrieving the profile Icons of the users and showing it on the graph to make it easier to recognize if a user is participant on the ticket.
What I learned
Forge basics and building a front end using react-js
What's next for My Issue People Map for Jira Cloud
Make it possible to change reporter or assignee using the graph directly.
