Inspiration
Agriculture is the backbone of India, yet many farmers still face problems like poor soil management, plant diseases, unpredictable weather, water wastage, and lack of real-time guidance. We wanted to create a smart and affordable solution that combines AI and modern technology to support farmers in making better decisions and improving crop productivity.
“Kisaan of Bharath” was inspired by the vision of empowering Indian farmers with technology that is simple, accessible, and practical for real-world farming conditions.
What it does
Kisaan of Bharath is an AI-powered smart agriculture platform that helps farmers monitor soil health, analyze plant conditions, and receive intelligent farming recommendations.
The platform can:
- Analyze soil conditions
- Detect plant health issues
- Suggest crops based on soil quality
- Provide smart irrigation guidance
- Reduce fertilizer and water wastage
- Support sustainable farming practices
Our goal is to improve crop yield while reducing farming risks and operational costs.
How we built it
We designed the project as a smart agriculture ecosystem combining software and AI technologies.
The system includes:
- Frontend dashboard for farmers
- AI-based recommendation engine
- Soil and plant monitoring modules
- Data visualization for farming insights
- Cloud/database integration for storing reports and analytics
We focused on creating a clean and user-friendly experience so that even non-technical users can easily understand the recommendations.
