Inspiration

The inspiration behind the idea of creating a platform that provides hackathon participants with access to mentors and experts is rooted in the idea of unlocking potential and creating a culture of collaboration. By providing access to experts, hackathon participants can deepen their understanding of the problem they are trying to solve and learn from the wisdom of others. This platform could also provide a space for meaningful conversations and collaboration, driving innovation and helping participants make the most of their hackathon experience.

What it does

This platform can be used to connect participants with people who have experience in their particular field and can provide them with invaluable feedback, support, and advice. It can also be used to connect participants with experts in different industries, so they can gain a broader understanding of the problem they are trying to solve. Our platform is designed to fit well with existing platforms and can be easily integrated with them. We have taken into account the features and functionality of existing platforms and considered how our platform can fill any gaps in their services. We have also researched the ways in which existing platforms can communicate and exchange data and worked to ensure our platform can be integrated with them. We have taken into account potential compatibility issues and created solutions to ensure a successful integration.

The challenges we have is that we need to find a way or figuring out the best way to match mentors to hackathon participants.

Creating a culture of collaboration and connection and providing an unmatched service and support system for hackathon participants.

What we learned

We learnt about Figma design and project management, We also learnt how to research potential solutions, develop meaningful connections, and create an effective system for matching mentors to hackathon participants.

What's next for My Helper

Create a better matching system, and add additional features and functionality. Additionally, we could look into how to grow and reach a wider audience so more participants can benefit from the platform.

Have the system measure the impact of the platform, such as tracking the number of participants who use the platform and the feedback they provide. Monetize the platform in order to make it a sustainable project. Finally, WE could consider how to scale the platform in the future to accommodate more hackathons and participants.
