Inspiration
We were inspired by the lack of a consistent format for electronic health records, and wanted to give the patient more control.
What it does
It allows to show their doctor a code, which he or she can use to retrieve the patients health record.
How we built it
We used flask to build the backend, react native to build the Android app, and Bootstrap and jQuery to build the web front end.
Challenges we ran into
Many different electronic health records already exist, so this is not a new concept.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we completed the whole projects core features and deployed it.
What we learned
We all learned new technologies like front end web development, and React Native.
What's next for My Health Record
We gave deployed it and plan to expand soon
