😈 About the Project: My Evil Startup Pitch 🎯 Inspiration We wanted to poke fun at the startup ecosystem — especially the buzzword bingo, inflated valuations, and morally ambiguous tech ideas that somehow get funded. But instead of just telling jokes, we thought:

What if we let AI generate an entire pitch deck… based on your darkest traits?

And so, My Evil Startup Pitch was born — a futuristic, button-driven web app that generates VC-style pitch decks for startups you'd never admit to founding, powered by real LLMs and polished with premium UX.

⚙️ How We Built It Frontend:

Built using a one-shot prompt in Bolt.new (yes, one single prompt!)

Fully responsive UI with glassmorphism, neon effects, and smooth transitions

Completely text-free input: all user interaction is done via buttons, toggles, and emoji selectors

AI Integration:

We used OpenRouter with the DeepSeek R1 model for flexible, fast generation

The prompt includes user-selected variables like:

Core Skill (e.g., Tech, Persuasion)

Guilty Pleasure (e.g., Spying, Sugar)

Alignment (e.g., Lawful Evil)

AI returns a fully structured pitch deck with:

🚧 Challenges We Faced Token limits & chunking: We had to optimize prompt size and data packaging for API compatibility

Real-time UX syncing: Making sure the frontend transitions matched backend AI generation time (with fallback states)

One-prompt constraint: Building this entire app as a single generative prompt was part of the challenge — no code splitting, no manual scaffolding

🧠 What We Learned Large language models can create surprisingly coherent satire — and sometimes disturbingly realistic evil startups

You can build genuinely entertaining, interactive tools with very little input friction if you rethink the UI

Agentic AI + thoughtful UX can create experiences that feel magical — or mildly concerning 👀
