The “My Dream” app increases the incentive to save by associating a concrete goal with the actual act of saving. Many people plan to save, but tend to put it at the low end of the priority list unless there’s an actual incentive or Dream to motivate the individual. The app also provides positive reinforcement and encourages the consumer to stay the course by sending encouraging emails or text messages on their progress.The app will attract users because it is designed and created for individual banks. The banks marketing team can promote the app as an additional consumer service and product.
