My browser extension hack

During the pandemic, I have always found myself checking for new tally of Covid-19 cases once in a while like multiple times in an hour. I made a simple Chromium extension that does the same task.

Inspiration

A lot of people have constantly checked the fresh tally of the total Covid-19 cases in their area. I found myself doing this most of the times, so made a quick side project to enable seeing a live count of the same.

What it does

It is a simple extension for Chromium based browsers, which can be used on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and other Chromium-based browsers. This, on the click of a button, shows you the active cases in an area.

We have used HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the extension.
