Inspiration

I'm a writer, and I really wanted a simple website design in order to express my ideas about the world. Thus, the blog was born!

How it works

I made a droplet on DigitalOcean, SSH'd in and installed and tinkered with WordPress, then modified the HTML and CSS, and used the CMS to post to it whenever I write a new entry.

Challenges I ran into

The CSS and HTML editing weren't easy, but everything else was easy as cake.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

It's live.

What I learned

How to use DigitalOcean to host sites. The sysadmin aspects I already had down pat, the HTML and CSS weren't easy, but they were all things I already knew how to do.
