Web-Based Minimart and Voucher System for Muhammadiyah Welfare Home
Our team embarked on a challenging yet exciting journey to create a web-based Minimart and Voucher System for the Muhammadiyah Welfare Home. The goal was to develop a platform that enables users to request products, earn vouchers, and provides administrators with management and reporting tools.
Development Journey
With limited coding experience, we decided to challenge ourselves by using the JavaScript and HTML framework. Our primary focus was on building a website that is both user-friendly and functional. Although we faced time constraints and were unable to implement all the UX/UI features we initially envisioned, we are proud of what we accomplished.
The website we submitted is fully usable, despite the few bugs and unfinished elements, and we believe it meets the core needs of the users.
Challenges Faced
One of the toughest aspects was:
- Dividing the work: Coordinating efforts among team members with varying implementations was difficult.
- Debugging issues: Integration of code was challenging due to different individual approaches.
Despite our outside commitments, we managed to:
- Find common time slots to meet at night.
- Clarify doubts and collaborate on fixing problems.
Reflections and Future Outlook
Overall, the experience was both challenging and rewarding. While it wasn’t easy, we enjoyed the process, learned a lot, and are excited to see how the website can help the Muhammadiyah Welfare Home community.
We hope users find the platform:
- Easy to navigate.
- Providing real value to both residents and administrators.
