In today's interconnected world, access to information is crucial for personal growth, education, and cultural preservation. However, language barriers often limit individuals from accessing knowledge beyond their native tongue. The Hausa and Igbo languages, spoken widely in West Africa, face this very challenge. Recognizing the need to empower speakers of these languages, we embarked on a project to develop a cross-lingual semantic search solution. This project aims to enable individuals to access information written in either Hausa or Igbo, irrespective of their own language background
