Inspiration
Mac is a pharmacy major who had recently heard something about mutations in one of his classes. (Which just goes to show a main thing about Game Design- inspiration comes from anywhere!) Hannah knew that she wanted to try to make her first "full" game in Unity, and what better time than one with a limit?
How we built it
Mac pulled through with some marvelous art with MediBang Paint Pro and a HUION Drawing Tablet, as well as word-scripts, whereas Hannah used her coding know-how to put together the programming-scripts, scenes, and pulling it all together in the Unity spaceā¦All while staying up the whole night to ensure everything that could be done was done!
Challenges we ran into
With little experience with Unity going into it, challenges were to be expected. Both the easy to weave through and the more difficult to navigate. There was time and time again of being concerned that the answer wouldn't be found, at least not in time, but by the finish we would say it went really strong.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Mac's art (Hannah's personal favorite background is the skeleton) and Hannah's really happy with the enemy AI script.
