Inspiration

We wanted to make an app help people become more familiar with music.

What it does

Lets the user convert a given (simple) song into a list of musical notes, as well as extra practice for reading/listening then identifying different notes.

How we built it

We used HTML with CSS and JavaScript to make the different pages.

Challenges we ran into

We had trouble implementing our algorithm to use input audio and turn it into an array of notes.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is our first hackathon, and we're proud to have made a simple, helpful, and functioning piece of software.

What's next for MusicalAid

Adding even more features, improving the audio-to-note algorithm, and expanding our options for the learning minigames (hard mode with bass clef!).
