Music sharing has never really expanded beyond just sending links to one another.

With my hack, users can stream and share music from soundcloud together over video chat, making music sharing much much easier. Simply search a song from the embedded soundcloud player, click on a result, and the song will broadcast to all the members within the video chat.

Each video chat is linkbased and I built a chrome extension to generate links for users. This way, wherever they are on the internet, be it Spotify, Youtube, SoundCloud, etc, they can click on the extension, send a video chatting link to a friend, and start sharing music.

In todays hack, I used firebase to track the songs that you share and store in the chrome extension so you can easily retrieve those songs later. While SoundCloud doesn't offer a history tab, my app will provide you with a way of tracking the music that you shared with your friends. Eventually, I will create a custom site for each user so that all the music that they shared will be on that site along with screenshots they took of themselves listening to the songs.
