Inspiration

I'm an amateur music producer and I sometimes struggle with writer's block, song structure or to start writing lyrics at all.

What it does

Produces ideas for how to build a song based on given genre, tempo and key. It also tries its best with lyrics and cover given themes. It's mostly an inspirational, creative assistant tool.

How we built it

At hackathon event at my company.

Challenges we ran into

The melodies structures are not the best.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It does its job as inspirational tool.

What we learned

LLMs are not great at some things still ;)

What's next for Music Mentor

I'm not sure - I think it's pretty self contained. Maybe some tweak here and there...
