The main watch interface when working out with the music heart rate feature.
What it does
The music heart rate connector uses your heartbeat to select songs that match your tempo. This uses Machine Learning to synthesize music based off the bpm of your heart, considering not only tempo but also various chord progressions and their emotional influence. From there the music is put into another AI program which segregates components by instrument/role and outputs this as several midi files. These midi files can then further be changed to incorporate different variations of instruments in an attempt to simulate a variety of genres. This project includes the user interface design in a semi-working prototype.
How we built it
We used Figma to create the design and then used photoshop to create a realistic image of what it would look like on a watch.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the interface and how everything came together, as well as the original idea behind our project and our ambition to attempt it despite being beginners and having insufficient experience with several of the languages we were tasked to use.
What we learned
We learned how to collaborate with each other and get a project done despite challenges along the way.
