Wanted to give back to my community through my programming skills

What it does

Music Choices is able to provide a random song based on the user's preferences. There are three main topics you can choose from, holiday, genre, or mood. Then it goes into greater details to customize to what the user wants. Then it suggest a song for the user to check out

How we built it

We built it using c++.

Challenges we ran into

The hardest challenges has to be the hardcoding of all of the data required for the songs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishment I am proud is the checks and balances system to catch some of the mischievous users that try to break my program

What we learned

I have learned to find an easier way to code all of the data involved and to plan a bit more before taking on a hackathon.

What's next for Music Choices

Music Choices will involve to use classes and functions to save on repetition. In addition, data storage will be optimized to avoid less hardcoding.
