We use the Muse headband to send raw data back to our python receiver server, which extracts the alpha, delta, gamma, and theta brainwaves. By looking at the waves' relative frequencies, we determine the user's mood and pipe it into ChucK to generate calming tones accented by your mood. Our web endpoint displays a constantly updated brainwave graph and a music visualizer which is powered by Node.js and Processing.js.

Our target user is angry people so that this program can be used as anger management therapy, but anyone can use it to relax or unwind after a busy day.

Procedurally generate tunes that calm your mood. Magic? No, it's a MuseMe.
