INTERAXON Muse is a revolutionary device which uses brain-controlled interface (BCI) technology and EEG’s to sense brain waves. Interferences are caused by even simple facial muscle movements. We call our creation the Muse-interactive control or MuseIC for short. Our application aims to increase the ability of video content to all users including those with disabilities and difficulty with movement.
What we have built is a video application (and now a generic event server built around Muse) that enables users to control playback and navigation with the muse. To elaborate, using only the blink of the eyes, users can pause and play back videos. With the clench of a jaw, users are able to seek through a video and navigate through playlists. This application removes the boundaries between people with disabilities and the abundance of video content on the internet.
