🌟 Inspiration

We’ve all been there—staring at a blank screen, struggling to start or finish a piece of writing. Whether it's a poem, story, song, or school essay, we often need a little push. That spark of inspiration.

MuseAI was born out of a desire to blend creativity with technology. We imagined an AI companion that helps writers not only get started, but also improve their work, make it dramatic, funny, or even give it a plot twist—and then read it out loud with emotion. 🎤

Our vision: Make writing joyful, effortless, and magical for everyone.

🧠 What it does

MuseAI offers a smart, interactive writing experience powered by AI. Users can:

  • ✍️ Start writing using AI-generated paragraph prompts
  • 🪄 Enhance writing: Make it funnier, more dramatic, or add a twist ending
  • 💾 Save drafts to a personal vault (with Supabase Auth)
  • 📄 Export as PDF (coming soon!)
  • 🔊 Narrate with emotion using ElevenLabs API (in progress)
  • 🎨 Enjoy a playful, responsive UI with a creative, cozy vibe

🛠️ How we built it

We used modern web tools to bring MuseAI to life:

  • Frontend: React + Vite for fast performance ⚡
  • Styling: Tailwind CSS with pastel themes and emojis 🌈
  • Backend: Supabase for authentication & user vault 🔐
  • AI Integration:
    • Gemini API (placeholder) for content improvement 🧞‍♂️
    • ElevenLabs (planned) for emotional voice narration 🗣️
  • PDF Export: html2pdf (upcoming) 📄

Every feature was designed to feel like magic—simple, responsive, and creative.

🚧 Challenges we ran into

  • Making AI outputs feel emotionally connected and context-aware
  • Managing auth + real-time database in Supabase smoothly
  • Voice synthesis integration with tone control and timing
  • Designing a UI that’s both creative and accessible on all devices
