MUSE-ic Player

Inspiration

We thought it would be awesome to be able to find music that you liked just based on other music that you liked

What it does

Uses the MUSE headset to interpret EEG readings from your brain, and uses the average value of your delta brainwaves to interpret what song you liked best.

How I built it

This app was based off of an example design that the developers of MUSE had posted to display how to use their interface.

Challenges I ran into

Interpreting the MUSE code was difficult

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Incorporating the MUSE data into the design.

What I learned

How to interpret the data being sent from the device and how to design basic android apps.

What's next for MUSE-ic Player

The function to suggest other music you might enjoy based on what you have enjoyed previously.
