What it does

Our goal is to utilize the MUSE EEG headband to detect concentration levels in real-time and translate them into actions in various applications, such as automating the Chrome Dino game based on the user's focus. We also tried to use the headband to automate a separate 2-D platformer that we built

How we built it

We built it using the Muse EEG headband to stream data real time. We then took that data and made it so that if the concentration reaches a certain level, an action is triggered. Currently we have that action binded to the spacebar button. We also made a 2-D platformer using Python and Pygame in order to further test out the Muse EEG.

Challenges we ran into

A challenge that we had run into was that as the platformer was being built out, we kept running into a bug where if the character autoran, it would teleport over all of the obstacles instead of colliding into them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of being able to even get the function to activate things with your brain working and the fact that we were able to even kind of build out a platformer!

What's next for Muse

Increasing its use cases -> the goal is to use muse for making specific jobs like finding law papers easier
