Inspiration
- Touchscreens and touchpads
- Hand drawn touch sensors
What it does
- Sensor consists of a grid of graphite (pencil drawn) squares.
- Touching a square increases its capacitance; this is detected by measuring (with an Arduino nano) the time taken to charge the capacitor.
- Finger location is used to control tempo and pitch of tune being played by a micro bit
- Micro bit LEDs visualise the tune being played, and can display the detected location of a finger on the touch pad.
