Why MunchMatch?

Have you ever skipped a meal because you were tired of eating campus food but are broke like me to go to the Commons? Or don’t have a Meal plan but the taxes are stopping you? Don’t worry MunchMatch is ready to assist you in finding your ideal FoodLover! To match, converse, and trade delectable delicacies with other foodies, swipe right. You swipe for culinary love—it's like Tinder for foodies!

How was it built?

Using FlutterFlow as our secret ingredient, we created MunchMatch, a delicious app. With a hint of imagination and a dash of technology, we created a sweet platform that allows foodies to communicate and trade their meal swipes. It resembles a virtual potluck gathering!

Obstacles we encountered:

Authenticating users took less time than opening a recalcitrant pickle jar, but there were a lot of changes to be made! And since Flutterflow is one of the newer platforms, we had no access to much guidance on how to create global variables or transfer date from one page to other. However, we managed to decipher the code and get it to function. Like our passion for food, nothing can stop MunchMatch from happening!

Proud accomplishments:

We're ecstatic to have achieved more progress than we had anticipated. Although developing our initial software was a wild trip, we succeeded. With one meal match at a time, we're prepared to take on the world!

What more?

We're adding some spice! We're considering adding a chat function so you can organize gourmet dates and talk about your favorite locations. Who knows, maybe we should open up MunchMatch to all colleges. More food love makes everything better!
