Inspiration

I wanted vibe coding to feel like building with friends around a whiteboard instead of taking turns typing into a chatbot.

What it does

People can build together through AI prompts, voice input, and a shared canvas. They can copy public websites into editable projects or play a 3D multiplayer racing game. I also added automatic Apify Actor selection to help generated apps connect to external data.

How I built it

I built this solo with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. SpacetimeDB powers shared app data, live cursors, and the racing game. Players send inputs while the server handles movement, hits, and laps.

Apify handles website captures. The new integration also lets the builder search Apify Store, inspect an Actor’s inputs, and connect it to a generated app without writing a separate adapter for each Actor. Credentials stay on the backend, and runs have spending and runtime limits.

AWS handles the AI generation, while Cartesia handles voice transcription. Challenges I ran into Smooth multiplayer took more work than just sharing positions. Website captures also needed a lot of cleanup. With Apify, finding an Actor was only the first step. Getting its inputs, results, and errors into a usable app was harder.
