Inspiration: It works! Actual data has been shared and accessed through four nodes and we have combined it with Verifiable Credentials as a means for Identification and Authentication.
What it does: load and arrival events of transport means with cargo is shared, with organizational capabilities stored in credentials. These events share links that provide access to additional data.
How we built it. We installed the nodes with a standard openAPI for events and queries. This standard open API is constrained for individual organizations to support their business
Challenges we ran into. To get all participants connected to their node, share data, and retrieve data they have shared from their node.
Accomplishments that we're proud of. Data can be shared and transformed between different models (OneRecord and FEDeRATED ontologies). Furthermore, a demonstrator of VCs with organizational profile, thus integrating Identity and Authentication with business capabilities
What we learned. There are always very practical issues to be solved like malware detection.
What's next for Multimodal visibility infrastructure. Technical: integrate the VC mechanism with the node, further refine the event structures, the query mechanism, and the organizational profile. Business: get the data flowing!
