Inspiration

Our main goal is to bridge the distance between State Farm and customers that's created due to the language barrier.

What it does

The chatbot helps users to communicate in their mother tongue while interacting with a support agent or a bot.

How we built it

We built our UI in angular, Service layer with java spring boot-microservices, and for ML/AI operations, we have used google APIs and Dialogflow.

Challenges we ran into

It was a challenging task for us, starting from identifying the end to end use case, till developing and implementing our idea successfully.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have implemented the chatbot, which can establish communication between users and agents with different language backgrounds.

What we learned

We have learned Angular, Spring boot, the ability to use google APIs, and Dialogflow.

What's next for Multilingual Chatbot for State Farm

We have a solid plan of improvements which will be presented at the time of presentation.
