Inspiration
My inspiration comes from wanting to do something that will universally be useful for all
What it does
It asks 3 questions about your demographics and then assesses them to spit out your high-risk results.
How we built it
I don't know, I was feeling frustrated at my code because it wasn't working for so long and it suddenly clicked. I got the divine inspiration of adding jumping "papers" and it worked!
Challenges we ran into
I did not know how to code in HTML, and HATED Java. But somehow an unknown language and one I hated came together beautifully.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The fact we made it work! It took a lot of brain cells and hours trying to complete this but in the end, we did and it was the best feeling ever!
What we learned
I learned a new language, HTML and how Java can be used with HTML to create a website through Tom Cat.
What's next for Multifactor High-Risk Disease Assessor
Maybe a database expansion, incorporating different factors to better determine your risks.
