Inspiration

Today’s digital experience is broken. Users discover products on social media, search for them on marketplaces, and complete transactions somewhere else. This fragmented journey creates friction, drops conversion rates, and wastes opportunity for both users and businesses. We were inspired to eliminate this gap by asking:

Why can’t discovery and transaction happen in the same moment? This question led us to build a platform where content is not just for engagement—but for action.

What it does

Multi-Service Video Commerce Platform transforms videos into fully interactive commerce experiences. Users can:

  • Watch engaging video content
  • Instantly buy products, book services, or request custom work
  • Interact with vendors without leaving the platform Vendors can:
  • Create video-driven storefronts
  • Attach products and services directly to content
  • Convert engagement into measurable revenue The platform supports a wide range of industries, including: e-commerce, services, delivery, rentals, real estate, and AI-powered manufacturing. ## How we built it We designed the platform as a scalable ecosystem that unifies multiple business models. Core innovations include:
  • Video-to-Commerce Engine linking content directly to transactions
  • Multi-Activity Vendor System allowing providers to operate across industries
  • Unified Transaction Model supporting orders, bookings, and requests
  • Zone-Based Architecture ensuring location-aware service delivery
  • AI Workflow for generating designs, materials, and cost estimates We focused on one core experience: Watch → Engage → Convert ## Challenges we ran into The biggest challenge was system complexity. We had to unify completely different workflows—e-commerce, bookings, delivery, and manufacturing—into one seamless experience. Other challenges included:
  • Designing intuitive interactions between videos and transactions
  • Managing multi-role users (customers, vendors, servicemen)
  • Implementing real-world geographic constraints
  • Simplifying AI-driven processes for non-technical users We overcame these by prioritizing user simplicity over system complexity, and building a flexible, modular architecture. ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
  • Turning passive video content into active commerce experiences
  • Building a unified platform that supports multiple industries
  • Creating a seamless journey from discovery to transaction
  • Designing a system that can scale into a real digital economy
  • Introducing AI-assisted manufacturing into a marketplace context ## What we learned This project taught us that:
  • Great products are built at the intersection of technology and user behavior
  • Simplicity is the hardest thing to achieve in complex systems
  • User experience directly impacts business outcomes
  • Platforms that combine content + commerce have massive potential We also learned how to think beyond features—toward building ecosystems. ## What's next for Multi-Service Video Commerce Platform We see this as the foundation of a new generation of platforms. Next steps include:
  • Launching live video commerce for real-time interaction
  • Enhancing AI for personalization and smart recommendations
  • Expanding logistics and payment integrations globally
  • Introducing creator monetization tools
  • Scaling the platform into a production-ready system Our vision is clear: To build a platform where every video is a storefront, and every interaction is an opportunity to transact.

Feature Proposal: Manufacturing System (Clothing & Furniture)

Objective

Add a built-in manufacturing system within the platform that enables:

  • Ordering custom-made clothing and furniture
  • Directly connecting orders with factories/workshops
  • Tracking the production process step by step

Components

1. Custom Order System

The user can select:

  • Product type (Clothing / Furniture)
  • Measurements
  • Materials
  • Colors

Options include:

  • Uploading an image or design
  • Selecting from predefined designs

2. Product Configurator

An interactive interface for product customization:

  • Clothing: size, fabric, color, printing
  • Furniture: dimensions, wood type, color, design

3. Order Routing to Factories

The system determines the most suitable factory based on:

  • Product type
  • Quantity
  • Location

Order handling methods:

  • Automatic assignment
  • Request for Quotation (RFQ) system

4. Manufacturing Management System

Order status stages:

  • Order received
  • In design phase
  • In production
  • Finishing
  • Ready for shipment
  • Delivered

These statuses are visible to the customer within their account.

5. Video-to-Manufacturing Integration

Each video can include:

  • "Order This Product" button
  • "Customize This Product" button

These actions open the customization interface directly.

6. Manufacturer Dashboard (Vendor Panel)

  • Receive manufacturing requests
  • Set pricing
  • Define production time
  • Update order status
  • Upload production progress images (optional)

7. Pricing System

Pricing can be:

  • Automatically calculated based on:

    • Materials
    • Measurements
    • Quantity
  • Or manually defined by the manufacturer

8. Quality & Rating System

Evaluation criteria:

  • Manufacturing quality
  • Delivery commitment

Additional features:

  • Upload final product images after delivery

Project Update: Multi-Service Video Commerce Platform We’re excited to share our latest progress! Over the past phase, we focused on transforming our idea into a working prototype that demonstrates the full video-to-commerce experience.

What’s new?

Video-to-Commerce Flow Implemented Users can now watch a video and instantly perform actions like Buy, Book, or Request directly from the content. Multi-Service Support The platform now supports multiple business types including products, services, and booking-based workflows. Zone-Based Filtering Users can explore content based on their selected location, ensuring relevant and available services. AI Manufacturing Concept Integrated We introduced the concept of AI-assisted requests where users can upload inputs and receive generated outputs and cost estimates. Vendor Dashboard Structure Built the foundation for a flexible dashboard that adapts based on the vendor’s activity (e-commerce, services, etc.)

What we tested

We successfully validated the core user journey:

Watch → Engage → Take Action This proves that video can be a direct conversion channel—not just for engagement.

What’s next?

  • Enhancing UI/UX for smoother interactions
  • Adding more advanced analytics (video → sales tracking)
  • Expanding AI capabilities
  • Improving checkout and payment flows We’re getting closer to turning this into a fully functional ecosystem Stay tuned for more updates!
