We all work for The School of Code which is focused around collaborative coding. We wanted to bring this into the world of music in a fun and creative way.

What it does

Allows you to code in multiplayer mode!

How we built it

Using Node JS to connect clients then Pusher JS to share messages directly between clients using the Pusher API. Code is shared to each client and then each client transpiles code and runs through Howlzer JS to sync music in real time.

Challenges we ran into

Playing sounds in the correct order.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The product, it's great!

What we learned

We learnt some interesting things about how visualisations are done using HTML5 canvas and how the web audio API works.
