The year 2020 has been a turbulent one, it has marked history with its unique events that humanity had never witnessed before. One of them being the global pandemic caused by the spreading infectious virus COVID-19. Many governments have taken major actions This has pushed citizens all over the world to lead a new life, unlike anything else we had experienced before; sanitary measures are being taken, hand sanitizer is at the top of the shopping list and the wear of masks is now mandatory for individuals of all kinds and ages. Countries are also very strict when it comes to the respect of those measures, and even if some of them, like us Morocco, have decided to lift the lockdown and reopen a variety of public spaces, the disinfection process is still as important as when the pandemic first started. That is why we had the idea of developing a multi-functional disinfection robot that can be used in public areas while still respecting the security measures. We are aware that there are already existing companies that offer products fulfilling those functions; but ours is unique because it includes all of them which is convenient and suits the actual situation better. The robot includes a camera connected to a software that detects whether the user is wearing the mask properly, as well as two dispensers to display both hand sanitizer and masks
