Inspiration
Extending the project of Day 1 ,we wanted to have some features so that we can convert the project to some useful application for normal user. So we decided to convert it to a multipurpose web application so for day2 task we added a Drive Storage Feature where user can store data and retrieve it.
What it does
This application in addition to day1 weather application provides storage facility to the user so that user can store their data and retreive it.
How we built it
We searched about database feature on firebase and found out that firestore allows us to do the required features.So we researched about it a lot and managed to get it up to our work. Our task of day2 included integrating the firestore data storage facility into web application.
Challenges we ran into
The major challenge we faced were with the data getting store but not able to display on the web page, we went about fixing it for a hour or two and finally fixed it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are able to achieve the task of day2 within the stipulated time and are working on further features.
What we learned
We learned about firebase data storage environment and the firestore.
What's next for Multi Purpose Web application
Next we are planning to integrate some multi user collaboration features to facilitate users to collaborate and work together.
