Inspiration

Nowadays, many vloggers & influencers post a video of themself eating many kinds of foods, popularly called "mukbang". Some of them become viral. That inspired us to create an Instagram filter with this theme.

What it does

In this filter, you have to eat as many foods as you can, and avoid the dangerous items. To play this filter game, you only need to open your mouth and move your head to "catch" the food. The more food you got, your face will become chubbier.

How I built it

We build this filter using Spark AR.

Challenges I ran into

Spark AR still new for us, while it's relatively easy to learn, our product need some tricky adjustment, especially to display the effect of the face getting fatter.

What I learned

We learn so much of how to make great use of this Instagram & Facebook filter, by designing & developing a game on top of these platforms.

What's next for Mukbang Rush Instagram Filter

We're planning to add more game mechanic, like various items & power-ups, improve the art, and offer a partnership with food vloggers.
