Inspiration

US unemployment claims hit 26.4 million amid virus since mid-March. (From BBC News). A further 4.4 million Americans sought unemployment benefits last week as the economic toll from the coronavirus pandemic continued to mount.

What it does

We help people to make money online while they are at home. We start with the English online lessons, e.g. a 45min English lesson via Skype for $10.

How I built it

We have the payment SDK integrated with the website. People can start receiving money in 5 minutes.

Challenges I ran into

Payment Issue. Most English learners are not from US or Europe, and they don't use Visa/Master credit card online. We need to make sure they can pay with their own way, instead of Paypal or Credit Card.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We have helped more than a hundred of SMBs to get money now. They are using our products to get paid every day.

What I learned

Local business will start migrating online. Customer will tend to use online platform comparing with the offline business. Therefore, the merchants or the freelancers need to find a way to be paid online.
