Inspiration

We are inspired by one of our friends' experiences. She adopts Muffin, a cat, when he was 15 years old, he had an accurate anemia that requires immediate blood transfusion. She was unsure about when she should bring Muffin to vet clinic and when should not, and she also unsure about which clinic or hospital offer the blood transfusion. Lots of the pet parents have similar experiences, they are having problem in decide when they should bring their pet to see vet and where should they go.

What it does

We build up a website that can match both the vet and pet owner. In this website, we offer an AI chatbot that can talk with pet parents to help them better understand their pet's situation, then they can make better decision. The AI chatbot can also recognize the image uploaded by the pet parents, then classify what that symptom is and what can be relevant to that symptom.

How we built it

Front-End Development: We use React, Bootstrap, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks to create an intuitive and responsive interface that allows pet owners to easily navigate the website, interact with the chatbot, and upload images of their pet’s symptoms, and booking appointment. Back-End Development: Developed the server, database, for user account management, data storage for chat histories and image uploads, and integration with the AI models. AI Chatbot Development: We use hugging face models in our chatbot to answer the pet owner's questions and image classification.

Challenges we ran into

We only have limited amount of time; we are not finishing the full project yet. We also faced some problem such as not able to redirect into the right page and firebase deploy issue. We do not finish build up the online database, neither. We have a really hard time in connecting AI with our chatbot. We still not figure out how to solve it.
