Inspiration

Our inspiration came from a team member who shared her experience researching women in engineering for a class assignment. She struggled to find articles and wished there was an easier way to access them. This challenge sparked the idea for our project and inspired the creation of Ms. Infinite Loop.

What It Does

Ms. Infinite Loop is an innovative article generator with a fun and visually engaging interface. It randomly generates articles from a curated library that highlights the voices and achievements of women in technology across the past, present, and future.

How We Built It

We divided the project into roles to work efficiently. After brainstorming as a team, we decided to break the project into parts. One team member implemented the code, another set up the APIs, and others organized the project structure and designed the user interface. This collaboration allowed us to combine our skills and bring Ms. Infinite Loop to life.

Challenges We Ran Into

Throughout the project, we faced several challenges such as: Setting up the APIs Finalizing the concept and structure of our web application Implementing the user interface

Accomplishments We’re Proud Of

We’re proud of completing our first hackathon, planning and designing a project in just 24 hours, and collaborating effectively as a team. Despite the challenges, the experience was both rewarding and fulfilling.

What We Learned

We learned how to collaborate under time constraints, integrate APIs, and transform a creative idea into a functional web application.

What’s Next for Ms. Infinite Loop

Our next step is to present Ms. Infinite Loop at a conference the Women in Computing Club (WIC) will be attending. We plan to share our project and highlight the stories of women in technology with a wider audience.
