It started with a familiar frustration:
I was juggling bills, budgets, debts, and dreams, yet I had no clear picture of my financial health.

I wanted a way to track everything in one place, but more than that — I needed something smart, interactive, and personalized. Most apps only did part of the job.
So I asked:
“What if there were a single platform that helped people not just track their finances… but truly understand and improve them?”

That question became KUZEN — your intelligent money co-pilot.

🛠️ How I Built the Project

I started with the core engine:
✅ A rules-based system using 12 Essential Financial Rules to measure your financial health in real time.

Then things evolved. With every test, every user conversation, new features emerged:

“Can I see my financial health as a score?”
“What about AI advice before I make big money decisions?”
“Could I see where my money is going in a visual way?”
“Can you show me trends over time?”
“What if it helped with my wishlist goals too?”

KUZEN transformed from a tracker to a complete financial wellness system:

💡 What I Learned

Finance is emotional. People need guidance, not just data.
Design matters. Making financial tools beautiful encourages people to use them.
AI can educate. Smart advice turns passive users into active planners.
Start with value, grow with feedback.

⚠️ Challenges I Faced

Complexity creep.
Balancing depth of features with user simplicity was hard. Not everything needed to be shown at once.
Accuracy vs. ease.
Ensuring accurate financial calculations while keeping the interface friendly.
AI trust.
Making sure users feel confident taking advice from an AI model — we made it transparent and explainable.
Security.
Handling sensitive financial data meant we had to prioritize encryption and access control from the start.
