Inspiration
In our Laboratory in South Korea, we have a lot of Indonesian Peoples. English is the main language in our lab, but somehow some people not really speak English well and that is what make us want to make this translation application.
What it does
Translating from English to Indonesian.
How we built it
We follow the Azure Cognitive Service Translation tutorial.
Challenges we ran into
The tutorial is actually using MRTK v2 but we have to try using MRTK v3 for this, MRTK v3 are new so we have to explore more.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
With the busy schedule as a researcher in our lab, we also have a conference event previously. So the time to build an application for hackathon is actually very limited. But we finally finished a simple application pretty fast for a beginner level of HoloLens 2 Developer.
What we learned
MRTK v3 actually good and we are looking forward to work with it.
What's next for MR ENG-ID Translation
Adding more language option so it can be use for other languages.
