Problem Statement: What are you building and why?
Understanding physics, engineering concepts, and system behavior is often limited by traditional tools that separate learning from experimentation. Existing simulation software can be complex, difficult to access, and disconnected from the real-world environments where ideas are conceived and tested.
MR Blueprint is a mixed reality physics authoring and experimentation platform built for the Logitech MX Ink stylus and Meta Quest. It transforms the user's physical environment into an interactive sandbox where they can create, manipulate, and simulate physical systems directly in the space around them. By combining spatial computing, natural stylus input, and real-time simulation, MR Blueprint makes abstract concepts tangible and dramatically lowers the barrier to learning, prototyping, and experimentation.
Solution Overview: How does your project work?
MR Blueprint turns any room into an interactive mixed reality physics laboratory. Users enter a world-space sandbox where they can spawn objects, position them within their environment, modify their physical properties, and run real-time simulations to observe the results.
Using the Logitech MX Ink stylus, users can directly create and interact with content in 3D space rather than relying on traditional menus and desktop interfaces. Objects can be selected, moved, scaled, rotated, and configured through an inspector panel, while simulation mode allows users to test and iterate on their creations. The system preserves scene states, enabling rapid experimentation without losing authored setups. The result is an intuitive creation workflow that combines spatial interaction, simulation, and analysis into a single mixed reality experience.
