movies are very inspiring to see but what if we want to discuss with our friends

What it does

you can just invite your friends on the website and start the game, the game gives you the dialogs and hints about the movie and you have to guess it, the friend guessing first will win the round. The person winning most round will be the winner.

How we built it

we built it with the help of web sockets to manage different sessions for different people connected and the rest was written in nodejs and react.

Challenges we ran into

managing the sessions in realtime is main issue, to make the timer run equal time on every persons end we have to sync the timer and rounds for each person, so that was difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

accomplishment is we have made a working model of online dumbsharads and we are pround of it.

What we learned

socket management and session management, syncing with different computer connected.

What's next for Movie Trivia

we have to perfect the system and make it much more useful and bug free.
