Inspiration
Netflix , Youtube Algorithms are so strong, that one could literally judge a person's personality by just looking at the results. this is a small step towards making something like that
What it does
It's a simple similarity score calculator that works on a dataset.
How we built it
using pandas, sciPy libraries
Challenges we ran into
had to learn about a lot of stuff as AI/ML is a new concept for me
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It worked for the movies in the data set, recommended Guardians of the galaxy , after watching avatar
What we learned
What pandas dataframes are, how to use them , and calculate cosine similarity scores among elements
What's next for Movie-Recommendation-System
Make it learn. so that now any new movie details, it could recommend an existing movie in the dataset
