Inspiration: Our inspiration for the Movie Recommendation Engine came from the desire to enhance user experiences in choosing films. We aimed to create a personalized and efficient system that recommends movies based on individual preferences.
What it does: Actually it provides movie recommendation based on the sentimental analysis of the user
How we built it: we have used PartyRock an AI Generative tool by AWS to create an app to recommend movies to users.
Challenges we ran into: Actually one challenge that we faced is to find companions. Actually there was no any database associated with the data of the companions who would like to binge watch movies with.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We were able to solve the issue of binge watching shows with like minded ones and we are also providing users with the feature called movie trivia(ChatBot)
What we learned: How should we think of the functionalities that are really beneficial for users. how can they make customers attract to our services
What's next for Movie Recommendation Engine: we would to implement the platform where companions can binge watch shows together in app itself.
